This is a place for artists...yes that means you.
You made it, you found the site. That's great news, there are so many websites out there about art, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. This one is a bit different, it’s a project more than a site and its always growing. Roaming Artist is a place to learn about art but, more importantly, I hope it inspires you to pick up a pencil or brush and create something. It is a resource and a place to find ideas and tips. Want to know what color to use for shadows in a watercolor painting? Check the watercolor section. What about all those pencils with the funny numbers and letters on them, 2H, 4B...check the drawing section. The objective of this site is to make art easier and less intimidating because everyone is an artist...everyone.
Of course there is more than just information: we have destination art events where you spend several hours on location with other artists doing what you do best...creating. A store will be up soon to sell some kits, guidebooks and other goodies for your studios. As the site grows so will the amount of information on its pages, so check back often.
